If somebody tells you it easy to do internet marketing, it’s just Not True. If they say “it’s easy, just buy my ebook” or “buy my course and you’re going to go out there and make a fortune overnight” they’re fooling you.
It’s not going to happen that way. It’s hard. There’s 100s of things you need to do and 100s of skills you need to master to be able to go out and do business online.
You’ve got to learn how to:
* Build a website,
* Register your domain
* Set up your hosting
* Handle your site design
* Your programming
* Your copyrighting
And then you have to sell something…
* You have to have your products.
* You have to develop yourself and sell affiliate products
* You need to get a shopping cart
* You got to set your prices
* Then you’ve got to get traffic
* You’ve got to get advertising
* You’ve got to learn about article marketing
* You’ve got to learn about forum marketing.
* You’ve got to learn about press releases
* You’ve got to learn about blogging
* You’ve got to learn all your web 2.0 stuff
It just goes on and on…
* And then you’ve got to get a list
* You’ve got to build a mailing list
* You’ve got to get an a responder service
* You’ve got to get some lead capture software
* And then you got to write good promo emails
* What if you start an affiliate program?
* You’ve got to get some affiliate software
* Then you’ve got to learn how to manage it
* Then you’ve got to have affiliate management
* Then you’ve got to have product fulfillment
* You have SEO- Optimize for search engines
* You have to do link building
* You have to do testing - tracking - analytics
* You have your legal - privacy policy?
* You have your accounting
* What about taxes?
This stuff goes on and on and on.
You think it’s easy to do internet marketing?
It’s not. unless you Know What Your Doing.
So.. my advise.. be patient, keep on learning, start all the above listed one by one, keep your spending low… once you’re ready no matter how long it takes, then go all out. Furthermore the market is huge and still growing. Even if you capture only 0.01% of the market size, it’s still much better return compare to your normal salary you’re getting now.. AND by that time you’ll be smarter and wiser online businessman
