Starting from today I will start my series of postings on the Road to Online Success that I’ve carried on practicing for all this while. I hope what I’m going to share will provide some understanding of how some people do very well online and some don’t.
For the past few weeks I’ve been toying with this new idea of generating traffic which is totally different than the core content of this site. I call this method, blooper. Though the content is different but the method is still align with the idea of making money online.
My site was down last Thursday for nearly 5 hours. The funny things were my domain was alive and pointing to the right IP and my server was up but yet I can’t view the page on any browser. But when I checked the port I noticed that all my ports were up except port 80 which is use for http request. That gave me a panicking situation for a while and for that reason I have to call my hosting provider (godaddy.com). As usual they manage to handle things efficiently. Their support team was friendly and that gave me a bit relieve.

For you who has decided to build your own site rather then sharing with free hoster I would recomend you to find a hosting provider which provides a Content Management Systems (CMS) as part of the package.
Many publishers still doesn’t have any clue of how to deal with Google Adsense because of their earning doesn’t meet with their projected calculation. They got very low Click Through rate (CTR) everytime. We can make it better if we knew about some tips for increasing CTR.
