Digg.com was down since the last 30 minutes, even when I was writing this post. “What does this got to do with you”.. I know you might be thinking of that with a big question mark. But hold on a minute, have you ever thought that this event will actually effecting your sites. Think of this:

I felt so annoyed this morning with just another spam email I received promoting tool to increase my site traffics. Enough of all this craps which sound so tempting but in reality have zero in value. I was so excited this morning after a long break for my family trip. All the efforts for all this while have shown some good results. I finally achieve my dreamed Google PageRank within 2 months. More excitingly it has given me a better post as in PR3 rather then starting at a lower rank. That was not all. More good news is showing and this time is from Alexa. I was ranked over 4 million last few weeks and it has improved to around 2 million this time. I hope to get below 500K in a few weeks time.
My site was down last Thursday for nearly 5 hours. The funny things were my domain was alive and pointing to the right IP and my server was up but yet I can’t view the page on any browser. But when I checked the port I noticed that all my ports were up except port 80 which is use for http request. That gave me a panicking situation for a while and for that reason I have to call my hosting provider (godaddy.com). As usual they manage to handle things efficiently. Their support team was friendly and that gave me a bit relieve.
I received an email from PayPal this morning asking to confirm a purchase of a product. I was surprised since I did not purchased anything for the past few weeks. So I looked into the email carefully and spotted few errors. I compared with the previous PayPal’s email I received to double check. It’s confirmed that it’s a SCAM.
Blogs are great place to find latest info, news, trends even friends. It’s too enjoying until you don’t notice its effecting your productivity. Before it’s too late consider applying this tips. I hope it will helps you to always remember your priority.
